Our Story

At Mokha 1450, we curate a bespoke and memorable luxury specialty coffee experience for the novices and coffee priorists alike; all are welcomed.

Mokha 1450 has engaged in the direct trade model since its founding to source coffee directly from farmers, and the company is founded on a strong Corporate Social Responsibility platform that aims to support women in coffee. Women, who generally do most of the labor, represent and create 90% of the coffee value chain but constitute only approximately 5% ownership and management throughout the coffee industry.

To improve the representation of women in coffee by paying a significantly higher premium for our coffees, Mokha 1450 has worked continuously with women-owned and operated coffee farms and cooperatives from origins such as Jamaica, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Yemen, Colombia, as well as others, and has engaged in a number of community-based projects to enrich the lives of these farmers.
